We're looking for a strategic and results-driven Business Developer to focus on growing CAKE.com productivity tools presence across key digital marketplaces (e.g., Atlassian, Salesforce, Microsoft, Google Workspace).

You’ll play a vital role in expanding our reach, generating new revenue opportunities, and fostering strategic relationships that drive user acquisition and product adoption.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with Outsourcing Developers and 3rd party platform Integrations aligned with CAKE.com products and mission.
  • Initiate and develop partnerships, collaborations, and other growth channels.
  • Research new markets and industries to expand CAKE.com’s global reach.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align marketplace strategy with user needs and business goals.
  • Create and execute outreach strategies to engage potential clients and partners.
  • Prepare tailored proposals, pitches, and presentations for business development efforts.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring a smooth transition to internal teams.
  • Track key business metrics and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decisions.

Must-Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or marketplace management - preferably in SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketplaces and API-based integrations.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in using data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely and cross-functionally.
  • Ability to work in CET timezone.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Fluency in Ex-Yu languages (Serbian, Montenegrin, Croatian, Bosnian).

Nice-To-Haves

  • Experience working with Atlassian, Salesforce, or other major app marketplaces.
  • Background in time tracking, project management, or productivity tools.
  • Technical familiarity with SaaS integrations and APIs.
