About the position

In this role, your primary focus won't be traditional feature coding or building ML models from scratch. Instead, you will act as a force multiplier across our engineering ecosystem—leveraging AI to automate complex processes, optimize internal workflows, and architect scalable AI-driven integrations.

What You'll Do

• Drive AI Automation: Identify high-impact operational and engineering bottlenecks and build AI-powered automated workflows and agents.

• Bridge Systems & AI: Leverage deep backend and DevOps expertise to seamlessly embed AI capabilities into our internal infrastructure and toolchains.

• Architect Scalable Workflows: Design and deploy robust systems that allow engineering teams to move faster through intelligent process automation.

• Act as a Forward Deployed Engineer: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify friction points and directly deploy AI-driven solutions to solve them.

Must-Haves

• 5+ years of experience in Backend Engineering, DevOps, and System Design—you know how complex software architectures operate at scale.

• Hands-on experience integrating AI models, APIs, and automated workflows into everyday engineering or business processes (you are inherently AI-native).

• Prior experience working in engineering organizations of a similar size (100+ engineers), understanding the complexities of processes and communication at scale.

• Strong enthusiasm for process automation, workflow optimization, and building system integrations over traditional UI/feature development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice-To-Haves

• Experience in a Forward Deployed Engineer or Product Engineer role, with a strong focus on solving real operational problems rather than just writing isolated code.

• Direct experience leading or championing AI transition initiatives within an engineering department.

• Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex), agentic workflows, or vector databases.

• Familiarity with CI/CD automation, internal developer platforms (IDPs), and infrastructure-as-code.
