We are seeking a Senior IT Recruiter to lead our recruitment efforts for IT and business roles. You will leverage your expertise to attract and engage top talent, manage the recruitment process from start to finish, and build strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our Manila office, handling HR and administrative tasks as needed.

About the position

CAKE.com is seeking a full-time HR Operations and Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Manila, Philippines. This role is integral to sourcing and recruiting top talent for IT and business positions.

In this position, you will utilize your technical expertise to comprehensively understand job requirements, implement advanced sourcing strategies, and oversee the recruitment process. Additionally, you will act as the primary contact at our Philippines site for all human resource-related and administrative functions. Responsibilities include coordinating visits to public or government offices, preparing laptop equipment for new hires, facilitating customs transactions, and managing various HR tasks as required.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact at our Philippines site for human resource-related matters and administrative tasks. This includes managing visits to public or government offices, preparing laptop equipment for new hires, assisting with customs transactions, and addressing other HR needs as required.
  • Source and attract top IT and business talent using advanced techniques such as social media recruiting and Boolean search.
  • Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates to ensure they meet the technical and cultural fit for various IT and business roles.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies for both IT and business positions.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from initial contact to offer acceptance, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System to track candidate progress and manage job postings.
  • Foster relationships with candidates and provide a positive hiring experience throughout the recruitment process.

Requirements

  • Must have 4+ Years Experience: In Tech/IT roles within the software development industry.
  • End-to-End Recruiting: Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment for IT and business roles.
  • Technical Expertise: Ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT and business positions.
  • Sourcing Skills: Proficiency in sourcing techniques, including social media and Boolean search.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong English skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to share insights openly and express opinions respectfully.
  • ATS Proficiency: Experienced with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment management.
  • Onsite Availability: Must work onsite at our BGC office in World Plaza.
  • Adaptability: Quick learner who can adjust to changing hiring needs.
  • Local Residency: Reside in Taguig, Makati, or anywhere near BGC.
  • Diversity Passion: Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Tech-Savvy: Understanding of industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Independent: Ability to work autonomously and manage HR needs effectively.

  • Familiarity with B2B type of employment.
