We're looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Compliance Assistant to help support our growing security and privacy programs at CAKE.com.
You’ll play a key role in keeping our systems and documentation audit-ready, coordinating check-ins through GRC tools, drafting basic security policies, and supporting compliance initiatives across our global productivity products like Clockify, Pumble, and Plaky.

What You'll Do
- Support our efforts related to ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR compliance.
- Understand and assist in managing the full audit lifecycle.
- Help with evidence collection and documentation ahead of audits and assessments.
- Assist in drafting and updating security policies and internal documentation.
- Perform frequent check-ups and syncs using compliance tools.
- Help track security control status and follow up on overdue or missing items.
- Assist in responding to vendor security assessments and client questionnaires.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve compliance workflows.
Must-Haves
- 3+ years of experience in compliance, IT support, or information security.
- Basic knowledge of audit processes, security frameworks, and evidence collection.
- Ability to write simple but clear documentation and policies.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
- Comfort working independently and staying organized in a remote setting.
- Good written and spoken English skills.
- Based in Serbia, able to work remotely and come into the Belgrade office when needed.
- Fluent in Ex-Yu languages (Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin).
Nice-To-Haves
- Experience with GRC tools or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and the shared responsibility model.
