Videographer / Cinematographer (On-site, Belgrade)

We are looking for a creative and multidisciplinary Videographer / Cinematographer to join our in-house creative department in Belgrade, Serbia. Working closely under the Head of Creative, you will help bring high-impact ad campaigns, brand content, and multi-camera video productions to life across all CAKE.com entities.

Our In-House Creative Department

The CAKE.com In-House Creative Department operates with the agility, speed, and creative depth of an agency, while being a core team inside CAKE.com. Our department supports all projects, brand initiatives, and entities that CAKE.com is involved with.

In this role, you will serve the Head of Creative and execute projects assigned by department leadership. Rather than focusing on a single product line, you will work across diverse projects—functioning as a flexible, multidisciplinary cinematographer who can ideate, shoot, edit, and manage full production setups.

What You'll Do

• Work under the Head of Creative to ideate, shoot, and produce ad campaigns, promotional videos, and creative content for CAKE.com and its ecosystem.

• Operate professional camera systems with advanced knowledge of lenses, framing, composition, and exposure settings.

• Coordinate and execute lighting and grip set setups, whether working lean with our core internal team or managing full G&E crews on larger productions.

• Connect, configure, and control multi-camera setups for studio recordings, interviews, and live productions.

• Handle professional multi-channel audio recording on set.

• Support post-production workflows, helping bring raw footage through editing, color grading, and final delivery.

Must-Haves

• Based in (or able to work from) Belgrade, Serbia.

• 3+ years of relevant experience in cinematography, videography, or film/video production.

• Mastery of professional camera systems, optics, and camera control tools.

• Strong knowledge of lighting techniques (both natural and artificial) and grip set coordination.

• Multidisciplinary mindset with a strong artistic eye for visual storytelling, framing, and color theory.

• Hands-on experience setting up multi-camera rigs and field audio gear.

• Proactive problem-solving skills on set and the adaptability to handle diverse creative assignments.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• Ability to work in CET timezone.

• Fluent in Ex-Yu languages (Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin).

Nice-To-Haves

• Post-Production Expertise: Video editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or motion graphics in After Effects.

• Live Streaming Capabilities: Experience configuring and controlling live streaming setups (hardware/software like OBS, vMix, ATEM switchers).

• Content Awareness: Basic understanding of digital ad formats, social media specs, and performance-focused video creative.

• On-Set Coordination: Experience directing talent on set or coordinating external G&E crews and rental houses.
